Thank you for making the choice to stay with us at Summer sands. We look forward to making your stay as comfortable as possible. At Summer Sands we strive to exceed your expectations and we are constantly updating and improving our hotel to better accommodate you, our guest. We value your opinion and want to hear from you! Please let us know if you or your guests have any special needs or requirements prior to check in and we will make every attempt to accommodate your needs.
Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to check-in for reservations that are 3 nights or less. If the reservation is for four nights or more, cancellations must be made one week prior to check-in. Late cancellations will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.
Maximum unit occupancy is four adults (with a $20 additional charge per night for a fourth adult). Parents traveling with children may have up to three children in the unit with no additional charges. Extra bedding i.e. cots or air mattresses for alternative sleeping arrangements are not available. Guest who exceed occupancy will be asked to either rent an additional unit (if one is available) or vacate immediately with no refund.
Guests must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation.
All Summer Sands is an entirely non-smoking property. This includes all interiors, balconies, pool area, ground floor, and parking lot. A $250 fine will be charged if a guest violates this policy.
Summer Sands allows dogs in designated units only, and reservations will be accepted for guest with dogs based on unit availability. If a guest is found to have a dog in a unit, other than a designated unit, that guest will be required to move to a designated unit (if one is available). If a designated unit is not available, occupancy will be terminated – with no refund.
FREE WIFI… There is no access code for the Internet connection. Simply access “Summer Sands” and you will be redirected to the website where you have to accept the terms and conditions.
Coin operated laundry facilities and a soft drink machine are located on the second floor next to the elevator. Single use laundry detergent and dryer sheets are available for purchase at the front desk.
Summer Sands is not responsible for lost or missing items. Personal Property is the responsibility of the guest. If an item is found after check-out, the staff will date and tag it by room number and it will be retained for up to 14 days. Guest are responsible for claiming the property and arranging for its return.
Our 11:00 AM check-out time is strictly enforced to ensure all of our guest have clean accommodations when they arrive for their 3:00 PM check-in time at Summer Sands. If you need to request a later check-out, please contact the front desk.
Please return all key cards to the front desk at check-out. Cards lost or not turned in will result in a $5 charge to the credit card on file.
PARKING at Summer Sands is VERY RESTRICTED. There are parking spaces sufficient to allow ONE car per unit. One parking pass will be issued for the unit. For more than one car, please inquire at the front desk for options.
The courtyard and hallways act as sound funnels and will amplify even normal conversation levels. Please respect guest by keeping noise levels to a minimum in the common areas.
After the front desk is closed any after hours calls are routed to the emergency call line. This line can be accessed by dialing 319 from a house phone or dialing 910-256-4175 from a cell phone and following the prompts. If you are experiencing and issue involving other guests or a disturbance please dial 911 and the Wrightsville Police Department will respond appropriately.
The registered guest(s) acknowledge that any damage caused to the unit during their stay will be charged to the credit card on file. Registered guest are responsible for all persons staying in that unit.
