Do you have smoking rooms?
All of the rooms at Summer Sands Suites are non-smoking. A $250.00 non-negotiable FINE is charged if anyone smokes in any room or balcony. 
Are pets allowed?
We do allow pets in several rooms. There are a limited number so please call ahead to check availability. The pet fee is $15 per day plus a credit card deposit of $100 to cover any damage caused by the dog. A $200 FINE is charged for any guest that brings a dog into one of the non pet friendly rooms. Dogs must be in a crate when the guest is not in the room. Crates are available for rent, but please call ahead to reserve one for your stay.

Is there a minimum night stay?
There is a two (2) night minimum stay on weekends, except for the winter season. There is also a three (3) night minimum stay for Easter, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July and Labor Day holidays. 

What are the seasons as far as rates are concerned?
For determining rates, winter is late October to February, spring is March and April, late spring May to early June. Summer season is early June to mid August and fall is mid August to mid September. Holidays occurring in the “off season” are charged at the holiday rate. If you have a more specific question, you can click here to contact us and we will be happy to help you. 

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations MUST be made 48 hours in advance to avoid a charge of one night’s stay. The higher priced night will be charged if more than one rate applies to your booking. If the reservation is for a week or longer one week notice is necessary to avoid being charged for late cancellation. 

Are there any other charges that may be incurred during our stay?
There are occasions when extra items may have to be billed to your account. For example, if a key is lost there is a $5.00 replacement charge. If there is any damage to a suite, that will be billed to you for the cost of the repairs. 

How many people will a suite sleep?
Each suite will sleep four (4) people. Each suite is furnished with either a queen or a king sized bed in the bedroom and a Murphy bed in the living area. Because of this arrangement, we believe the suites are ideally suited for two (2) adults and two (2) children. Rates are based on a two (2) adult occupancy and additional charges apply for each adult over and above that expected number. Children over the age of twelve (12) are considered adults. If you are travelling with a larger group or family, we do have a limited number of adjoining suites. Contact us today if you have special needs and we will see what we can do for you. 

How early should we book if we want to come for Flotilla Weekend?
Summer Sands Suites has the ultimate location for enjoying the Holiday Flotilla over Thanksgiving weekend and since the number of visitors increases each year, we suggest that you book as early as possible. Because the balconies on the harbor side offer the best view of the Flotilla without having to leave the comfort of your suite, an additional fee applies to those rooms booked over the flotilla weekend. 

Do you have handicapped accessible rooms?
Yes we do offer some rooms equipped with amenities to aid guests with physical limitations. Please contact us directly so that we can make sure that you are assigned a suite that will meet your needs. 

What forms of payment do you accept?
We require that all reservations be secured with a major credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We DO NOT accept personal checks. 

Are there any other restrictions?
Yes. You must be at least 25 (twenty-five) years old to secure a booking. 

When are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. 

Do you offer any discounts?
Yes. We offer discounts for AAA members and AARP members. Please call for details.

NOTICE

Wrightsville Beach was the target for Hurricane Florence.  The eye passed directly over our island.  While many of the homes and business did not suffer significant damages, the entire region has been impacted.  Our Summer Sands staff are putting their personal lives in order as we try to get back to normal.

There was no major damage here at Summer Sands, but we do have some work to do.  We want to get our guests back soon, but we will need to take the month of October to clean, repair and replace whatever is necessary.  We want to give our guests the clean, comfortable suites they have come to expect from us.  We miss you and we will see you all soon.
